Our community is shaped by deep respect for culture and Country, and guided by the gospel values of love, justice, and reconciliation.

Walking Together in Faith and Culture

At Zillmere Congress, we honour the wisdom of our Elders and celebrate the unique gifts of Aboriginal and Islander peoples. Our worship reflects our identity—rich in story, song, language, art, and community. Whether lifelong members or first‑time visitors, everyone is welcomed with warmth and acceptance. As part of the national Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress movement, we stand committed to spiritual growth, cultural empowerment, and justice for First Peoples.

A Community of Care, Healing, and Belonging

We believe in supporting the whole person—spiritually, emotionally, and culturally. Our community offers programs and gatherings that strengthen families, nurture young people, and provide safe spaces for healing and connection. Through prayer, fellowship, and practical support, we walk alongside one another, upholding the dignity and strength of every person who enters our community.

Growing Together, Serving Together

Our ministry extends beyond Sunday worship. We partner with local organisations, schools, and community groups to serve our neighbourhood and advocate for reconciliation and justice. Through cultural events, youth activities, pastoral care, and community outreach, Zillmere Congress remains an active and committed presence in Brisbane’s northside.
